On almost every PC I see a copy of Chrome installed….why? Not because they wanted, but because they installed (free) software and during these (default) installations Chrome will installed as well, just as unwanted (for most people, because they never use it) spam browser. Just like Google does with the irritating Google Toolbar. It runs on every PC, (collects data and slower your internet) but no one used it. See Googles way of spamming their browser:
http://www.google.nl/intl/en/earth/download/ge/agree.htmlBut ok, because of my work I know there is a group of people that just don’t like Microsoft. Mostly PHP developers. They always talk about Linux or any other kind of non-Microsoft products. Until they go on holiday. Then they need a Windows 7 laptop with VNC installed for playing DvD’s and games hehe. Back home they have their Linux fight again.
Google has a good search engine, en nice web based tools. I use them all. But their Windows (C++) stuff is crap. Even their Google Earth is officially not made for Windows 8.
But ok, lucky we can use their Android Phones and tablets. Unfortunately you have to clear your ram manually 10 times a day, and is the Dolphin Android browser almost more popular than Google’s own Chrome.
Anyway, happy Chrome’ing
