Title: Recording
Post by: E1manTas on January 18, 2016, 06:01:58 PM
Hey. I have a bit of a problem with my recording in MTA, most of the time i used Fraps for recording and it worked fine, but yesterday when i tried to record something, i started to have big FPS drops and i don't know how to fix it. Could someone tell me how do i fix that? I know, farps is shit xd, but maybe you can suggest some other recording programs?

If you have an NVIDIA card Shadowplay is hands down the best recording software, it has a very minor performance hit.

It uses some compression, so it does not look as good as Fraps or Dxtory at their best settings, but if you want pretty much no FPS hit use Shadowplay.

Somehow, i have only 3gb ram, and i configured bandicam, and its now like a recording machine.. 34-60 fps everywhere.  My comp -
   CPU name         =  AMD Phenom(tm) 8450 Triple-Core Processor
   Vendor/Model     =  AuthenticAMD (stepping 03)
   CPU speed        =  2.108 ghz (3 logical threads)
   x86PType         =  Standard OEM
   x86Flags         =  178bfbff 00802009
   x86EFlags        =  efd3fbff
Do my computer is a robot or something? :D [also gta iv works on 40-60 fps]

- ShadowPlay if you have GTX Series GPU
- Mirillis Action
or
- Open Broadcaster Software ( also for livestreaming )

I've always been forgetting about Shadowplay when i wanted to record something. I have to thank you for the reminder.
(also had this fps drop problem and don't know where it came from)

I used so many recording programs, and the best are Shadowplay and Open Broadcaster Software. My videos are recorded with that two.
Shadowplay is really easy to use, good performance and quality.
OBS is the most complex and complete recording software, and it's free. It's the best for streaming and you can set the codec or quality that you want.
