A few players have been asking me how to add radio stations ingame, so here is a little guide how to do it.

The stations you add is only visible to you. There are ways to add a station for all, but its little more complicated, pm me in that case.

Find the streaming URL.
1. This is done by going to your radio website, find out how to play radio in the browser and search for a link similar to:
play in extended player
play in Windows Media Player
play in Winamp
download .pls
etc.

The key is to find a link to a file like:
.pls
.m3u
.asx
like winamp.pls
etc.

2. Download the file and open with notepad.

3. Find the streaming link, sometimes there are multiple links, then just find one that works.
exaple links:
http://vip2.str.reasonnet.com/qmusic.mp3.96
http://scfire-ntc-aa01.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1026
http://stream-79.shoutcast.com:80/listen.pls?sid=1
http://74.222.2.146:9358
http://174.36.206.217:8402/stream

4. Test the link with a media player like VLC.
In VLC; press media, open stream and paste the url and press play.
If it plays it works.
Some websites doesnt provide links, then maybe i can sniff the URL using URL sniffer pm me.

Add the URL to game.
1. hold M in SiK server.
2. Paste the URL in the top white textfield. (make sure its no space in front of the link)
3. Name the station in the bottom white textfield.
4. Press Add station.
5. Try it by select the station and press play station.

Hopefully it works then close the box to save and just use M to play/pause ingame.
If not, try another URL or something.

The scipt is clientside, so the radio uses only your bandwith, so if you have a really shitty connection then maybe there will be more lag, just pause with M and sing your own songs. (webradio uses about 96kb/s, not much)
